WHO ARE THE GARDEN BARBERS?

I’m a 26-year-old West Island local, and I’ve been working in landscaping every summer since I was 18. What started as a summer job to help fund my education gradually became something I genuinely enjoyed — working with my hands, being outside, and seeing the difference that good work can make to an outdoor space.

Outside of landscaping, I’ve always gravitated toward an active, outdoors lifestyle. I’m a former university lacrosse player, an avid skier, and a hockey player. Spending time outdoors in every season has become part of who I am — whether that means working through a hot summer day, cleaning up after a fall storm, or enjoying a winter on the slopes.

I started The Garden Barbers to turn that lifestyle and experience into something of my own: a landscaping and exterior property-maintenance company built around good work, attention to detail, and a genuine appreciation for the outdoors.

We believe outdoor spaces are meant to be enjoyed — so we’re here to help keep them that way, in every season.
